INTRODUCTION

This page describes a few projects I was involved in Applied Computer Science, in particular, in High Energy Physics (HEP) experiments. Today, HEP is a frontier science for understanding the fundamental building blocks of Nature. Setting up an experiment to probe the Nature ingredients is a very complicated and costly project. For instance, at CERN, the world's largest particle physics laboratory, where the web was born, the most ambitious HEP project, the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is going on. Thousands of experts from all around the world have been involved to solve tedious tasks of data analysis. The two undergoing experiments CMS and ATLAS will combine a data sample of Petabytes size. To analyse such amount of data a new ideas, i.e. GRID projects, are explored.

I've been participated in the following HEP experiments:

Here a list of few projects I've been involved over time:

For details about specific project please use left side bar navigation. Please note, I'll only emphasis my contribution to the project. Usually the project are bigger and involve a group of experts.
