University of Minnesota Computer Registration

Here is some basic help on registering at the University of Minnesota from computer.

1. Determine the Call Numbers for the classes you are interested in. These can be found on the current Class Schedule
2. Now you need to connect to the registration computers. Information on how to do this is available here
3. Using telnet to connect is done this way:
   • telnet pubinfo.ais.umn.edu
   • Please enter your terminal id; '?' for MENU; 63
   • Please enter PA for public acces sysctem: PA
   • Please Indicate Your Menu Selection Here ===> 13
   • enter your student ID and password
   • select registration
   • follow the directions given, use the arrow keys to input F4 when done with a screen
   • To exit the system type: XQ
