Meetings are free, and everyone is welcome!
We meet at 7:30pm on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at Cornell's Kahin Center, 640 Stewart Avenue, Ithaca. (see map below)

At our monthly meetings, we write several 'urgent action' letters and sign petitions to government officials on behalf of prisoners whose life and wellbeing are in immediate danger. We also exchange information on AI campaigns and plan future events. Occasionally, we host a visiting speaker or watch a video on a human-rights topic.
A few days before each meeting, we send out a newsletter with agenda items, sample letters to governments, and other news. To subscribe, contact Wies (607-257-3156) or send an email.
Your signature improves conditions and helps to free prisoners around the world!
"We could always tell when the international protests were taking place... the food improved, and the beatings were fewer. Letters from abroad were translated and passed around from cell to cell, but when the letters stopped, the dirty food and repression started again." - A released prisoner of conscience from Vietnam
