Guidelines for the FY2006 Proposal Process
FOR NEW PROJECTS:
Important dates:
January 6, 2006: Project Description due. Please submit to Gerry Dugan both the original file and a pdf file for your Project Description. LaTeX is preferred for the original, but Word is also acceptable. A LaTeX Template and its pdf file are given below. If Word is used for the original, the format and structure should be the same as shown in the template below. Please also send your project description to George Gollin in pdf and postscript format.
January 6, 2006: Letter of Commitment (template) from your institutionÕs Office of Sponsored Programs due. The letter should be addressed and sent to the Principal Investigator (Maury Tigner) at the university holding the prime contract (Cornell University). His address is

15, 2006: Biographical Sketch due. Send to Gerry Dugan in pdf format, together with the
original LaTex or Word file.
January 15, 2006: "Current and Pending Support" Form due. Send to Gerry Dugan as a Word file.
February 15, 2006: The project leader must submit his/her individual project as a grant request to DOE by this date. The submission to DOE should be done through this web site. There is a telephone help line at 1-800-518-4726. The funding number for new projects is DE-FG01-06ER06-01.
