Instructions for Installing the Whip Viewer ( a
PC based drawing viewer)
within the LNSNTCAD Domain WITHOUT the need for administrator
privileges. Please note you must have PC50 mapped to the 'Z' drive
letter designation to do this.
Users outside the LNSNTCAD Domain can visit the Autodesk site to install the WHIP Viewer.
No administrator privileges needed!
On your desktop, double click on My Computer.
Double click on the Z: drive.
Your next screen should look like this:
Use the ribbon bar, and scroll down until you find the VERITAS folder.
Double click on the Veritas folder to open it.
Double click on the WinINSTALL2000 folder. (Note, the name is truncated due to length.)
Double click on WINSTL32.exe (again, note the name is truncated due to length.)
Click once on Whip Viewer to select it, and click on the install button.
When
you see this screen, click OK.When the install is complete, you'll see this screen.
You'll now see the Install screen with a check mark next to Whip Viewer. This shows the program is now installed.
Click on EXIT to leave the install program,
the WHIP! should now be installed.
