String Theory and Precision Cosmology

In this time of rapid progress in experimental cosmology, many theorists are grappling with the problem of how to extract clues about fundamental physics from present and future observations of the CMB and large-scale structure.

The goal of the workshop is to bring together experts in theoretical cosmology and string theory in order to identify the leading challenges and opportunities at the interface between fundamental theory and cosmological experiment.

We will reserve ample time for informal discussions, with the hope that topics of mutual interest can be explored in depth over the course of the week.

The workshop is supported by the Swedish Foundation for International Cooperation In Research and Higher Education (STINT).
